Inspired by famous Tangueros and Tangueras, Dance Tango teaches not only the dance but its cultural elements. Argentine Tango, as a social dance, is much less about the steps than about connection. It foremost expresses an emotion and at Dance Tango we are very keen on sharing the essence of Argentine Tango with our students.
Dance Tango will introduce you or re-introduce you to the Intimacy of the Embrace (the most important quality of a tanguero according to a 40-year tanguera) and the Power of the Tango Walk.
Dance Tango will talk about etiquette & navigation in the milongas, make you listen & dance to the most famous Orchestras of the Golden Age of Argentine Tango

Argentine Tango has become very popular in the last twenty years. With the show Dancing With The Stars, some forms of Argentine Tango has now become part of the mandatory curriculum of any Partner Dance Studio.
Dance Tango did not add Argentine Tango to another set of dances but specialized in Authentic Argentine Tango right away.
Dance Tango learnt from Argentinians maestros and embraced the culture of the dance (The most prominent of these teachers in terms of lasting influence are Sergio Cortazzo and Gachi Fernandez, Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo and Pablo Varon).
Dance Tango practices what we teach: we go and dance in milongas very regularly. A teacher for Argentine Tango who never goes and dances in Milongas disconnects himself/herself of what social Argentine Tango is.
