Class Topic: Subtly of Crossing, Uncrossing and ocho: MAY 12th
The cross or cruzada and un-cross is such a basic element of Argentine Tango that it is mostly assumed to be known and mastered by intermediate students. However the complexity of the lead and follow of this move is generally beyond the grasp of beginners even though this is the time when most students are introduced to that step.
The same is true of ochos .
Therefore, our next intermediate classes held in Costa Mesa on May 12th will be dedicated to this topic. We will work on getting the lead and follow of cross, uncross and ochos refined so it is easy, effortless and smooth.
This class will challenge both the leaders and the followers. Truly!
Argentine Tango Instructors, Avi & Cecilia believe that Argentine Tango happens best when both partners contribute equally to the dance. Hence the class will address both sides of the equation and work on both the leading and the following roles.
